Combination Collar Kits
  This collar combines the best features of a regular collar with a limited choke collar. The collar is adjustable with a side release buckle. The limited choke feature prevents dog from backing out of the collar. Good for dogs that do not like collars slipped over their head. Extra D ring for use as a regular, non-tightening collar or tags. Why two patterns? One for the larger sizes and one for the smaller sizes? The technique for making the straps is different in each pattern. The straps in the smaller sizes pattern are very lightweight, while the straps in the larger sizes pattern are more traditional weight. While the basic instructions are the same and can be used interchangeably, using the heavier style straps with the very small hardware can be a challenge.

Combination Collar Kit

This easy project requires only basic sewing skills and equipment (home sewing machine). Kit includes detailed, illustrated instructions and top quality hardware to make one collar using your fabric*. Collars are fully adjustable to fit a range of sizes. Basic leash instructions included.

Instructions for 4 sizes included to fit a range of necks 12 to 29 inches in a variety of widths.

*Collar strap is made from cotton fabric and heavy weight interfacing. No nylon webbing needed.


Each Kit includes:

*Instructions for all size collars. (except from small kit shown below) All hardware styles use same instructions.

*1 set hardware in your choice of size and style.

Webbing Conversion Chart-This chart is meant to be used in combination with the instructions in Creative Designworks Collar Kits. The kits do not have specific instructions for using webbing. Use the measurements in the chart to substitute nylon webbing for the handmade cotton webbing. Then follow the instructions to construct your item.

Extra Small: fits 7-11" necks using 5/8" hardware

Small: fits 10-15" necks, choose 5/8" or 3/4" hardware

Medium: fits 12 to 19" necks, choose 3/4" or 1" hardware

Large: fits 15-24" necks using 1" hardware

Extra Large: fits 17-29" necks using 1" hardware

Choose one size for hardware to be included in kit.
