Cat Collar Kit

This 1/2" wide collar especially for cats and kittens is soft and lightweight. Instructions for 3 sizes included to fit a range of necks 5 1/2 to 13 inches.

The buckles provided have a "break away" feature. This easy project requires only basic sewing skills and equipment (home sewing machine). Kit includes detailed, illustrated instructions and top quality hardware for three 1/2" wide cat collars to make using your fabrics*.

Instructions in this kit are interchangeable with the MINI dog collar instructions.

*Collar strap is made from cotton fabric and fusible webbing. No nylon webbing needed.

Webbing Conversion Chart-This chart is meant to be used in combination with the instructions in Creative Designworks Collar Kits. The kits do not have specific instructions for using webbing. Use the measurements in the chart to substitute nylon webbing for the handmade cotton webbing. Then follow the instructions to construct your item.

Breakaway Buckles
Breakaway buckles are specially designed for cats. If their collar catches on something, the cat's twisting or struggling action causes the buckle to open, freeing the cat.

Please, NEVER use a breakaway collar with a leash.
